Everyone knows how to access a website – but do you know how to make one? There are many tools, programs and classes that can give you tips and tricks on the best way to construct your own site, for either business or personal use. Search under ‘how to build a website‘ to find places that can walk you step by step through the process. You’ll start with choosing and registering a domain name, setting up a web host and putting your domain and the host together, finding and installing the right software to use as a site builder tool, and all the little tweaks you need to maximize performance and make it all work properly. When you’re done – and it doesn’t take as long as you’d think – you have a fully functional outpost on the internet, your place for product sales, reviews or a way to vent your spleen and share your wisdom.
